Citadel AI ("we", "our", "the app") is a business management tool for small business owners. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's used.
Information we collect
- Account details: your business name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
- WhatsApp number, if you choose to link one, so incoming WhatsApp messages can be matched to your account.
- Business data you enter: products, prices, stock levels, sales, customers, and invoices. This data belongs to you and is only visible to your account.
- Messages you send the AI Assistant, on the web dashboard or via WhatsApp, in order to generate a response.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to operate the app for you: showing your dashboard, generating invoices, and answering questions through the AI Assistant. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to run Citadel AI:
- Supabase (database hosting) stores your business data.
- Anthropic (Claude AI) processes messages you send the AI Assistant, along with a snapshot of your business data needed to answer your question.
- Meta / WhatsApp Business Platform delivers and receives WhatsApp messages if you choose to use that feature.
- Vercel hosts the application itself.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us using the details below.
